Meet the maker
Rusticat Woodworks was created by Patrick O’Neill during the pandemic in late 2020. What started out as helping a local TNR project by building cat shelters, has turned into a creative outlet full of both small and large wood projects.
Patrick is a NEPA native, living in Pittston PA, where he is an engineer by day. Nights and weekends in his shop are where his creativity lies. After creating the cat shelters, he began to envision employing wood projects around his home. With countless hours of research and designing, he eventually started creating small wooden goods for family and friends. He has created just about everything from cutting boards, charcuterie boards, shelves, ash trays, desks, coffee tables, bookshelves, and dining room sets. Patrick’s favorite projects are the ones that customers envision that he can make a reality.
Patrick takes pride in his vast knowledge of different woods, technique, and even the milling process. In addition to his beautiful handmade works, he hopes to soon offer raw cut slabs and lumber to other creators in the area.
